Chapter Events

IAEE Southeastern Chapter hosts several events each year.  For more specific information about registration, location, and event fees, please click on the individual event.

Chapter Luncheons

IAEE SE hosts 5 chapter luncheons for its members and their guests during the course of the year.  These meetings are held the 4th Thursday of February, April, June, October.  The Annual Holiday Party is held during the 1st Thursday in December.

Annual Southeastern Classic

2010 Jenny Melton Scholarship Application PDF Print E-mail

The Jenny Melton Scholarship fund was established in 2002 in Jenny’s memory.  The Foundation has joined the Partners in Education Program attempting to encourage local business to get involved in additional education funding for the students in Hall County.  Three $2,500 scholarships are available to full-time graduating high school seniors at West Hall High School and Flowery Branch High School and a fourth scholarship is available for children of members of IAEE Southeastern Chapter who are graduating high school seniors.  The Foundation has given (22) $2,500 dollar scholarships since Jenny's accident.


  The deadline for 2010 is March 31, 2010.

Jenny Melton Foundation

The Jenny Melton Foundation was established in memory of Butch Melton's (with Freeman) daughter. Jenny, a West Hall High School athlete and Honor student who was killed March 19, 2002 in a single car accident on her way to school. The Jenny Melton Foundation has joined the Partners in Education Program attempting to encourage local business to get involved in additional education funding for the students in Hall County.
