We had a great turn out for our volunteer day at Second Harvest Food Bank Kitchen in Orlando.  We plated up 11,936 meals that were consumed the next day, May 8th.

The IAEE Southeastern Chapter’s April Educational Luncheon on April 24, 2025, was hosted at GES Orlando.  We had nearly 50 total attendees that experienced a comprehensive “State of the Industry” presentation by Chuck Grouzard, EVP, Business Development & Creative with GES, and current IAEE Chair. 

The IAEE SE Chapter’s February 20 luncheon program was held in the Georgia International Convention Center located in College Park, Georgia. 

The Gritz Reception was a hit at the IAEE Expo! Expo! in Los Angeles, CA. There were approximately 65 Southeastern Chapter Members in attendance. The vibrant atmosphere created an excellent opportunity for members to network and connect. 

The IAEE Southeastern Chapter had a great turnout for the joint Holiday Luncheon with the PCMA Southeast Chapter and MPI Georgia Chapter! The event was held on Dec. 12th at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta had 400 industry professionals registered to attend, of which approximately 145 were from the IAEE Southeastern Chapter. The holiday networking luncheon benefited Covenant House, which helps provide shelter to teens and young adults facing homelessness.

Our IAEE SE Chapter hosted a Young Professional Meet Up at the Yard House at Icon Park Orlando.  It was great to make new connections with local members in the Orlando area. 

The IAEE SE Chapter’s 9th Annual Tech Exchange Luncheon was held at the Atlanta Convention Center at Americasmart. In addition to providing an annual update on the status of the IAEE SE Chapter, the event provided attendees with the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and technologies in the events industry and featured presentations from Expo Auctions, Map Your Show and Sessionboard.

The 33rd IAEE Southeastern Classic, held from September 3-5, 2024, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, offered an exciting blend of educational sessions and networking opportunities.

IAEE Southeast Chapter would like to say Thank You to the members who participated in our Atlanta Community Service project on May 17 at Urban Recipe.  

On Friday, May 17th our IAEE SE Chapter volunteered at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida in Orlando.  We had 18 of our members participate in sorting a wide variety of frozen meats that will be distributed to a wide variety of food pantries in the Orlando area. 

On Thursday, May 16th our IAEE SE Chapter hosted a Young Professional meet up at Round Trip Brewing Company in Atlanta.  We had a small but close group, and enjoyed chatting and connecting about life and the events industry.

On Wednesday, May 15th our IAEE SE Chapter hosted a Young Professional meet up at the Yard House at Icon Park in Orlando, FL.  It was a great opportunity to connect with some of our members that represent a wide variety of show organizers, suppliers and other industry professionals.

The event was held on Dec. 13 at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta and drew almost 300 industry professionals, of which over 100 were from the IAEE Southeastern Chapter. The holiday networking luncheon benefited Covenant House, which helps provide shelter to teens and young adults facing homelessness.

The annual Gritz Reception was  held at IAEE Expo Expo in Dallas, Texas at the Omni Dallas.

On Wednesday, November 8th the IAEE SE chapter hosted an Atlanta meet-up at Monday Night Brewing. We had attendees from different sides of the industry as well as various age groups. Looking forward to our next meet-up!

On Wednesday, November 8th the IAEE SE chapter hosted an Orlando meet-up at Rocco’s Tacos.  We had members from North American Veterinary Community, GES, Aluvision and AV Media in attendance.  It was a great way to connect with new local members in the Orlando area.

On October 26, 2023, the IAEE 8th Annual Tech Exchange Luncheon was held at the Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart. The event provided attendees with the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and technologies in the events industry. Robin Davis with ExhibitorsWINH graciously provided registrations for myself and another GSU student, Nicole Zhao.
